01Overview

StagMD (“StagMD,” “we,” “us”) is a telehealth technology platform that connects men seeking treatment for erectile dysfunction and related conditions with independent, US-licensed clinicians and licensed pharmacies. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices you have.

Because StagMD facilitates healthcare, some of the information we handle is sensitive. We treat it accordingly and only use it to provide and improve the service, as described below.

02Information we collect

We collect information you provide, information created during your care, and information collected automatically:

  • Account & contact information — your full name, email address, phone number, shipping address, and your choice about receiving promotional messages. We do not operate password-protected customer accounts on stagmd.com.
  • Health & intake information — the medical intake, hosted for us at care.stagmd.com by Rimo Health, collects your date of birth, sex assigned at birth, height and weight, your answers to eligibility and medical-history questions, your medication preference, and your consent choices. That information goes to Rimo and to the independent clinicians and licensed pharmacies who treat you. StagMD does not receive or store your medical answers on its own systems. Our own records hold only your contact details and your order history. Separately, StagMD staff can sign in to the Rimo platform as the brand account and view your customer record there — see section 05 for exactly what that includes.
  • Payment information — processed by our third-party payment processor. We do not store full card numbers on our systems.
  • Order & treatment information — prescriptions issued to you, fulfillment and shipping details, and support communications.
  • Device & usage information — IP address, device and browser type, and pages viewed, collected through standard web technologies.

03How we use information

We use personal information to: route your assessment to an appropriate licensed clinician; enable prescribing and pharmacy fulfillment; process payments and subscriptions; provide customer support; send transactional and, where permitted, service messages; maintain security and prevent fraud; comply with legal obligations; and operate and improve the platform.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your health information for third-party advertising.

04How we share information

We share personal information only as needed to provide the service or as required by law:

  • Clinicians — the licensed healthcare professionals who review your case and, if appropriate, prescribe.
  • Pharmacies — the licensed US pharmacy that dispenses and ships any prescribed treatment.
  • Service providers — vendors that support hosting, payment processing, shipping, communications, and analytics, under contracts that limit their use of the information.
  • Legal & safety — when required by law, to comply with legal process, or to protect the rights and safety of users and the public.
  • Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.

05Health information

The independent clinicians and pharmacies who treat you are “covered entities” under HIPAA and are the custodians of your medical record. StagMD is not a covered entity and does not act as their business associate. Because that distinction is easy to misread, here is precisely how your information is split between the three parties:

  • Rimo Health, the treating medical group and the pharmacy operate the intake at care.stagmd.com and hold your clinical record: your medical-history answers, the clinician’s assessment, the prescription, and any messages you exchange with your care team. They are the custodians of that record and it is maintained under their own privacy practices.
  • StagMD’s own systems hold a deliberately small set: your name and email from the assessment on stagmd.com, the marketing source you arrived from, and order-level records — order identifier, amount, plan and status. Your intake answers pass through our servers only in transit to the medical group; they are never written to our storage.
  • What StagMD staff can see in the Rimo platform. As the brand account, we can sign in to Rimo and open your customer record. That record includes your name and contact details, shipping address, tokenised payment method, treatments, consultations, shipments, and communications with the care team. We use this access to answer support questions, resolve billing and track orders. We do not use it for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not copy your clinical record onto our own systems.

StagMD and Rimo have no Business Associate Agreement in place. That is consistent with the structure above — StagMD is a marketing and customer-support brand rather than a covered entity or business associate — but we would rather state it plainly than leave it to be inferred. Requests about your medical record itself should go to your treating clinician or pharmacy, who hold it.

06Cookies & analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, secure the platform, and understand usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect functionality. Where required, we honor recognized opt-out preference signals.

07Data security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and monitoring. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

08Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the service, and thereafter as required to meet legal, regulatory, tax, accounting, and medical-recordkeeping obligations. Retention periods for medical records are governed by applicable law and your clinician’s and pharmacy’s requirements.

09Your rights & choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below; we will verify your request and respond as required by law. Requests related to your medical records may be directed to your treating clinician or pharmacy.

You can unsubscribe from marketing messages at any time; we will still send necessary transactional messages about your account and orders.

10Age restriction

StagMD is intended only for adults 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

11Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “last updated” date and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of StagMD after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

12The provider network’s privacy notice

The independent clinicians who treat you practise through the medical practices affiliated with Dr Telx LLC — TXMD of California, P.C., TXMD of Kansas, P.C., TXMD of Texas, P.C. and Digital Medical Care, P.C. Dr Telx LLC is a management services organisation that operates under Business Associate Agreements with those practices.
